Demi Lovato, who kicked off 27th Birthday in style by attending Ariana Grande’s gig, has announced her new role in the upcoming Netflix comedy film “Eurovision.”
Lovato, who was seen in the animated films Charming and Smurfs: The Lost Village, announced her new film, named Eurovision. This is the upcoming comedy film of Will Ferrell. However, Ferrell shared a video and revealed the news. “So happy birthday, yay,” Ferrell says before smashing the cake into the camera. The clip then transitions to show Lovato blowing out the candles while on the set of the movie,” further concluded.
The film also stars Rachel McAdams and Pierce Brosnan, alongside Icelandic musicians Lars Erickssong and Sigrit Ericksdottir. This is going to be their once-in-a-lifetime chance to represent the country in the world’s biggest singing competition.
Although Lovato did not share what her character will be. Even the release date for the film has not been revealed yet. Lovato attended Ariana Grande’s performance concert at the London O2 Arena and celebrated her birthday on Monday.
Later, She was joined by Scooter Braun, her music manager. She even shared a sweet behind-the-scenes moment between Scooter, Grande and her crew to give her fans a glimpse of Ariana’s gig. Lovato uploaded many snaps of the concert to her Instagram Stories, including dancing so hard that she and Scooter had to take off their shoes to rest.
“This was too sweet not to post….before show prayer they did this for my bday,” Demi posted on social media, alongside a short video of Ariana, Scooter and her crew cheering, “Happy Birthday, Demi.” The “Confident” star further continued, “I’m so so proud of you @arianagrande. You f–king killed that!!! I love you tons.”
