In an April episode of NBC sketch series, Brad Pitt made a cameo appearance of 3 minutes as Dr. Fauci, who is the acting director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The Oscar-winning actor has been nominated alongside Luke Kirby for “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisei”, late Fred Willard for “Modern Family”, Dev Patel for “Modern Love” and Eddie Murphy for “Saturday Night Live”. Before the show was conducted 79 years old Fauci was asked in an interview on CNN whom he would like to see as himself in SNL and he answered “Brad Pitt”. After Pitt was nominated for the Emmy award, Dr. Fauci became overwhelmed and called it “Surreal”.
