While Jennifer Aniston‘s role in Friends fetched her fame and fortune across the globe, it even gifted the actress with a household name. Following sometime through such popularity, Jennifer Aniston was on the verge of quitting from the show Friends. Now, the question is what made Jennifer Aniston Quit Friends in Halfway? Why she opted for such a decision?
Calling the end
Addressing the context, the celeb spoke in a confidential interview with host Matt Lauer on NBC news. At that juncture, the actress came to reveal, “I had a couple of issues that I was dealing with. I wanted it to end when people still loved us and we were on a high. And then I also felt I was feeling like, how much more of Rachel do I have in me? How many more stories are there to tell for all of us before we’re just now pathetic?”
Met with persuasion
However, her convinced stay in the show ultimately relieved the fandom from utter disappointment. But the move came with some sort of persuasion by her fellow stars which made Jennifer change her mind to continue the character until the tenth and final season of Friends. Eventually, the bittersweet emotions came to outstand her stint when Friends wrapped up its days from the screen.
On a blissful note
Towards the finale, the celeb conveyed her gratitude to Friends saying, “It was one of the saddest days of my entire life. I am so grateful to have been apart of that show. I can’t believe I ever wanted to leave it looking back now”.
Meanwhile, since the last episode made its way back in May 2004, rumors about a possible reunion have taken to the forefront. On the other hand, the show’s executive producers namely Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane are all expected to make a comeback.
