F.R.I.E.N.D.S is one of those series which got immense popularity and loved over the years. The show has given huge fame to all its actors including Jennifer Aniston. While there are many who helped her to move on in life in a difficult situation, she recently revealed who helped her to move on from her famous role in the series.
In the new episode of Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Aniston has said that it was her 2002 role in The Good Girl opposite Jake Gyllenhaal that first convinced her she could get out of her F.R.I.E.N.D.S character Rachel Green. While they played each other’s love interests in the movie, it is no secret that Jake had a major crush on her while doing the movie.

Aniston opened up about this to Zendaya, Reese Witherspoon, and Helena Bonham-Carter in the series, and also said that her role in F.R.I.E.N.D.S haunted her so badly that she wasn’t sure whether she’d be able to move on from it in life.
Jennifer shares her story
“I could not get Rachel Green off of my back for the life of me. I could not escape….just Rachel from F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Rachel from F.R.I.E.N.D.S,” she said. “It was The Good Girl that was the first time I got to just sort of really shed whatever this little, like, Rachel character was. To be able to disappear into someone who was walking in those shoes was such a relief to me.”

She further added, “I just remember the panic that set over me thinking, ‘oh God, I don’t know if I can do this, I don’t know, maybe they’re all right, maybe everybody else is seeing something I’m not seeing, which is, you are only the girl in the New York apartment with the purple walls.”
On the other hand, in 2016, Gyllenhaal has confessed to People that he had a crush on her for years and also admitted that working with her was not easy as well.
