The famous star Keanu Reeves shared that he holds a special connection to his Toy Story 4 character Duke Caboom.
In an exclusive clip of PEOPLE from the Blu-ray/DVD and Digital home release, the 55-year-old star gave life to the well-known character who only wants to ride his motorcycle. Meanwhile, Scott Clark, the supervising animator on the film also shared that he was impressed with Reeves’s performance. He also revealed what had happened during the pre-production of the team when Reeves came to them.
“When we were in pre-production for Duke Caboom, Keanu Reeves came in. I didn’t have a chance to do any animation yet so I just did some posing,” he added. “We showed him some poses of Duke on the bike.”
Keanu Reeves, on the other hand, was excited to be a part of the film. He shared that he instantly connected with the role.
“I don’t know what it was but I instantly connected to Duke Caboom,” Reeves told. “I felt like his physicality was important, so even when he’s talking to you he’s doing stunts. He can’t help himself.”
