When the well-known American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, composer, and fashion designer voiced his ambition of becoming the next President of the USA, the social media platform hardly believed in his wish. It then made Kanye West acknowledge his seriousness on Twitter who wrote, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States!” on July 5. His post simply cleared the air on the day. Later on, he added #2020VISION to affirm his goal.
Backing the objective
While his tweet contributed, to everyone’s surprise, some users in the platform responded via memes. But the celeb’s long-time friend the SpaceX founder, Elon Musk invested total faith in West as he offered his “full support” to the determined venture.
A shocking disclosure
Now, will you believe that just after four days, one’s “support” has faded? Unfortunately, that’s what happened! The reality accompanied to the forefront as West appeared in an interview with Forbes. There, he sparked what exactly urged him to run into the presidential race. West said, “God just gave me the clarity and said it’s time. You know I was out there, ended up in the hospital, people were calling me crazy. I’m not crazy.”
Afterwards, he stressed his views against abortion who told, “I am pro-life because I’m following the word of the Bible”.
In fact, he also clarified his opinions on vaccination and COVID-19 claiming, “It’s all about God.”
The defeated brotherhood
While several followers on Twitter questioned such views, a Twitter user took over Musk’s supportive tweet and informed the Tesla CEO about the breaking perceptions.
Lastly, it compelled Musk to write, “We may have more differences of opinion than I anticipated.” His statement, however, exposes the utter embarrassment that he battled during the moment.
