Colin Jost has recently come to reveal about his wedding plans and Saturday Night Live’s eventual comeback on television. As the American comedian was called in SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live on Monday, he discussed how he and fiancée Scarlett Johansson had to rethink their future plans owing to the global pandemic.
An unexpected mess
The Weekend Update writer, however, dispensed their thoughts for tying the knot in the upcoming days where the duo was obliged to figure out the scenario in regard to the standard protocols of the legal system pitted against the ongoing crisis.

With restricted vision
Addressing the concern, Jost voiced, “We don’t know what’s even legally allowed, right? This is also not the time to get all your elderly, at-risk relatives together in one big group.”
He further stressed on the persisting uncertainty and added that the couple was clueless about “when that moment will be” able to favour a wedding ceremony.
Later on, he shared, “We don’t know if we could do a live show for SNL yet, let alone have a wedding where the audience is elders”.
The spell of unpredictability
While explaining about how Saturday Night Live would look like when season 46 would return in the later phase of 2020, Jost admitted that they can’t confirm whether the show would be back in the studio or it would be aired in a remote manner.
Afterwards, he contemplated the matter saying, “We’re waiting on … what the New York state guidelines are, and what the rates of infection are, at that point. Of course, we’d all love to do it in the studio and have an audience, and do it as close to normal as possible. But I don’t know which stage we’ll be in and what’s feasible.”
