4. 1 tbsp coconut flour

Note: If you are allergic to nuts or specifically almonds, one can go for just ¼ tbsp of almond flour. The result will be very similar. You can replace cow milk but that’s not something we suggest. Once again you can use coconut milk here. But regular cow milk is a big no, and you know why! To make the bread completely dairy-free, replace butter with olive oil in the recipe.

Add ons for a healthier recipe
1 tbsp finely chopped broccoli — for the broccoli bread
1/4 cup finely chopped spinach — for the spinach bread

Instructions

At first, preheat oven to 400F. Use an olive oil spray to the ramekin. If you wish you can grease butter as well. But we suggest doing it with olive oil spray. Beat the egg in a bowl and add the coconut flour, almond flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and melted butter. Stir to combine. Keep stirring till the mixture gets smooth. You can use a whisk to mix everything properly. This is the time when you should add the broccoli or spinach for a different type of Keto bread. For the ones, who do not like the vegetables in general or hate to add greens to their diet, spinach or broccoli Keto bread is a good option.

Pour the mixture into the ramekin. Set the oven to 355-400F and wait till it’s fully heated. Bake the mixture in the oven for 10-15 min. You can also microwave it on high for 90 sec. Wait for 12 minutes and your Keto bread will be ready! It smells amazing if baked in the oven by the way. In case you are using a baking pan make sure to line it with baking paper. Once done, it is always useful to check the bread with a toothpick or bamboo skewer. The colour is also important here; check for the golden brown shade before putting the skewer right into the centre of the bread. If it comes out clean, the bread is ready to serve. Keep it aside and let it cool for ten minutes. Then invert the ramekin or pan to take the bread out. Put it in an air-tight container and store for up to 5 days.
