Even after eight long years of marriage Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively share their feeling of regrets for their wedding location. The couple apologized for choosing the location without any knowledge about it.
On 9th September 2012, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively married at a place called Boone Hall, located in South California. They had no idea that the place was a ground of slave plantation. After a month Pinterest banned the photos of their wedding along with all other plantation ceremonies. They felt ashamed as soon as they came to know about the whole thing in detail. Recently after the movement for Black Lives Matter has been started the couple stated without addressing their wedding how they have been into systematic racism. They saw the photo of the venue on Pinterest. They did not know the tragic story underlying beneath it.
Now the couple is consciously raising their three kids James, Inez, and Betty so that they don’t enter into systematic racism. They don’t want their kids to learn to discriminate against humans. They also stated that they wanted to use their privilege, social position, and economic condition to act as an ally to the people oppressed due to insane discrimination.

The couple donated $200,000 to the fund for NAACP’s legal defence, in June of this year. According to the couple, dreaming for a better world and working on it helps them to ease their pain. The couple shared that they talk to their children about their own bias, blindness, and their own mistakes and that led them to huge avenues of education.
