What Does Queen Elizabeth Think About Meghan Markle Not Being Present at Prince Philip's Funeral?
According to the reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been in regular contact with Queen Elizabeth after the unfortunate incident of Prince Philip’s death.
The world is digging into the rift between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Royal family. And for the same, many doubted over the presence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip’s funeral. Prince Harry was found flying to the UK and is currently quarantined at his Frogmore Cottage home. The funeral is set to take place on the 17th of April at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

A royal spokesperson stated to the ‘People magazine’ that Meghan Markle was unable to join her husband, Prince Harry due to the strict restrictions given by her physician against traveling during her final months of pregnancy.

The couple revealed in the interview that they are expecting a baby girl this time, after Archie, their elder son, due this summer. A source close to the couple informed that Harry’s arrival in the UK for his grandfather, Prince Philip’s funeral was expected as they shared a very close and dear bond.
Queen Elizabeth showed complete understanding for Meghan Markle’s absence from the funeral. As mentioned by Markle, time and again, that her initial period in the Royal family has been tough and depressing to some extent. Though she never failed to thank the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip for his support and guidance that made her strong to go through the difficulties. Prince Philip had a soft corner for the newcomers to the Royal family; he had been a guiding hand to both Princess Diana and Meghan Markle.
