The 58-year-old Hollywood actor Tom Cruise is setting up a studio in a former military base. Reportedly he is doing this with expectations that social distancing and other norms will be followed in the shooting from now on. The production will be now shifted to the former tank design base at Longcross in Surrey from Leavesden in Hertfordshire. Tom Cruise is determined of releasing Mission Impossible 7 on November 19, 2021. To meet this deadline, he is reportedly spending millions for the smooth completion of the work.

After his infamous outrage at the set which was leaked created quite a fuss. His shout was captured and revealed by The Sun, where he was heard yelling at a couple of Mission Impossible 7 members for disobeying UK social distancing norms. After the leakage, a section criticized him but some understood him. However, his approach was not encouraged by a lot. “It’s not my style, but I understand why he did it. He’s not wrong at all about that,” George Clooney had said.
While the controversy took the spotlight, some landmark decisions taken by Tom Cruise were forgotten. The superstar did everything he could to continue the production. In October, shooting was on in Italy, but production was stopped because 12 crew members had tested positive for the virus. Even when Cruise and his team had planned to shoot in the UK, coronavirus cases were at a peak. He had personally appealed to the UK Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden to get permission in July.
