This is a remarkable price reduction over the Samsung 990 EVO SSDs, which originally retailed for $124.99 for the 1TB variant and $209.99 for the 2TB model. 

Samsung notes that compared to the previous generation, there has been a 50% improvement in sequential read and write speeds and a 73% improvement in power efficiency. This makes it an even better deal. Gamers may anticipate improved performance at an even more competitive cost.
