Prince Harry says it’s dangerous to bring Meghan Markle to the U.K.

Prince Harry has expressed concerns about the safety and well-being of his wife Meghan Markle if they return to the UK, primarily due to the intense media scrutiny and invasive press coverage they have faced. He believes these concerns will continue if the security decision is not overturned, as revealed in the ITV documentary Tabloids on Trial.

People are wondering if the Duke of Sussex might settle in the U.K with his family, but Prince Harry shot down these assumptions.He said “That’s not going to work if we can’t keep them safe while they’re here.”

Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is currently in a legal battle to reinstate protection for his family, as his security was reduced following his and Meghan Markle’s departure from royal duties.

Prince Harry claims that it may only take a lone actor to endanger his family

Harry and Meghan already revealed multiple instances of attacks by random people and the press after stepping back as senior royals. The Duke of Sussex believes that it is still dangerous, and only one person can act on what they read. 

He expressed genuine concern about the tabloid’s harsh reporting on the Duchess of Sussex, which is one reason he won’t bring her back to the country.

He said “It’s still dangerous, and all it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff to act on what they have read.” he also added “Whether it’s a knife or acid, whatever it is, and these are things that are of genuine concern for me. It’s one of the reasons why I won’t bring my wife back to this country.” 

Safety was the reason to leave U.K 

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, decided to leave the UK due to increasing danger levels. The couple’s security clearances were taken away by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC), despite Harry’s promise to pay for their own security. The Duke is now appealing the decision in the UK court, arguing for a fair and lawful application of RAVEC’s rules, ensuring he receives the same consideration as others in accordance with RAVEC’s written policy.
