Strawberry Banana Smoothie: A Super Easy Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Smoothies are the quickest healthiest snack we can come across. They are easy to make, loaded with fresh fruits, and absolutely filling. You can store them up to a few days so it saves a lot of time in your busy schedule. The best part of the smoothies is that you can be creative with the recipes whilst you are getting healthy.

We already gave you a nice and quick idea of making Strawberry Smoothie. Now something extra to that, a ripe frozen banana! Yes, you read it right. Today we are here to share the super creamy Strawberry Banana Smoothie.

A Strawberry Banana Smoothie is undoubtedly one of the best breakfast recipes ever! A homemade smoothie is all about fresh fruits and ingredients complementing each other. So this Smoothie can easily give everything you need to kick start you day.

Ingredients
2 cups of frozen Strawberries
1 Banana, fresh or frozen
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup plain Yogurt
2 tsp Honey
Ice

We prefer using frozen Banana because that makes the Smoothie creamier. In the case of Milk and Yogurt, we do suggest using Skim Milk or Zero Fat Milk and Greek Yogurt. Did we say that you can use Coconut Milk too? Since our aim is to make this drink one of our breakfast snacks, it is always better to go for the healthiest option. This is the same reason why honey should be added here in place sugar. In fact, honey is optional in this recipe. Smoothies made of fresh fruits should be taken with the goodness intact in it as much as possible. But for the sweet tooth Smoothie lovers, honey can come at the rescue! Even Ice is kept for the ones who like to have the drink chilled. Moreover, adding smashed Ice can make the texture thicker as well. If you are using frozen fruits, Ice can be anyway skipped.

How do you make it?

Cut the strawberries into two halves and save in the freezer. You can use non-frozen too. Cutting them makes blending easier.
It is better to add frozen Banana as this gives the creaminess naturally to the drink. Cut Banana in small pieces as well and keep aside.
Is your blender ready?
Put the fruits in it, add milk and switch in on!
After the first run, stop for a while. It is time to add Yogurt and Honey.
Blend it for some time and add ice at the final step.
Blend for the last few seconds and we are done!
Open the Blender to find the yummiest drink waiting for you.

Add ons
Add more juices of your choice. It adds a different flavor and extra sweetness.
Add chia seeds, oats, or almonds to get extra benefits.
