Former F1 team owner Eddie Jordan, Adrian Newey’s manager, has declined to address speculation about whether the Formula 1 design legend will join the Aston Martin team next year. “We don’t have anything to announce,” Martin’s spokesman stated.
“I Will Not Be Forthcoming In Any Shape”
Jordan, who facilitated an early exit for Newey from his contract as Red Bull’s chief technical officer in April, told BBC Sports, “I am not prepared to answer – I will not be forthcoming in any shape or form.”

After the Italian GP, there were reports that Aston Martin would announce Newey’s arrival at the Azerbaijan GP. However, his manager remained silent when asked about it.
Aston Martin is a renowned British luxury sports car manufacturer and Formula 1 team. It was founded in 1913 and the company is known for producing high-performance vehicles that combine elegance with cutting-edge technology.
Newey has been regarded as the greatest F1 designer ever. He has contributed to 12 drivers’ championships and 13 constructors’ titles with Williams, McLaren, and Red Bull since 1991.
Adrian Would Be An Asset
In an interview with Bloomberg, Team owner Lawrence Stroll said, “Adrian and I have been talking not only for months but actually for years. Adrian is clearly the most talented and gifted individual in F1 based on his track record and history. So I’d be very excited for Adrian to join our team, as I think every other F1 team on the grid would feel exactly the same.”
Recently, Aston Martin’s spokesman said that Adrian would be an asset for the team if they have and have been linked to many teams. However, he has nothing to announce.
