Priyanka Chopra Might Be Seen In Matrix 4: Not A Rut

Variety reports, Priyanka Chopra might have signed another big Hollywood project to her pioneering line-up.

The Indian actress in her 37th year is on the way to final proceedings of joining the toss of Matrix 4, alongside returning cast members Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss and Jada Pinkett Smith, and new additions Neil Patrick Harris, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Jonathan Groff.

The wondrous role yet under scrutiny

But what role will be taken up by her didn’t yet come to the forefront. Considering the Matrix series to be an action-based franchise, she will likely exhibit her Quantico action minces once again, directed by Lana Wachowski in its fourth instalment.

A glimpse of the cast

Plot and character details of Matrix 4 have been kept secret till the date although. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, with whom Priyanka co-starred in her Hollywood debut Baywatch, Neil Patrick Harris and Jonathan Groff has been featured in undisclosed roles. Tracing back to the Original Matrix which starred Hugo Weaving as Agent Smith and Laurence Fishburne as Morpheus, both of them will not return in this version of the iconic trilogy.

Climbing the tip of success

The Matrix released in 1999, followed by The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions in 2003. The movie is based on the dystopian premise of humans living in an alienated reality caught amidst pretentions. Morpheus and Trinity, however, lead the resistance, later joined by Neo.
