This pause in sporting activities is a demonstration of the nation’s mourning and the need to prioritize community support and recovery efforts during this challenging time.

The decision was taken at an emergency meeting

The decision to convene at an emergency meeting was promptly made in response to the devastating impact of torrential rain and landslides, which resulted in the destruction of numerous homes, roads, and bridges.

As search operations persist in their efforts to locate missing persons, the urgent need to address the aftermath of this natural disaster has become increasingly apparent.
