However, it was just video calls to unite the Queen with the royal household taking over the unprecedented circumstance at a time when virtual reality has become the new sensibility.
Source has revealed that Harry and Meghan along with their baby son Archie Harrison, who are residing at Los Angeles currently live-streamed with the monarch on Tuesday wishing her many happy returns on the particular occasion. Reports have also surfaced stating the Queen has been active over a series of video calls during her isolation period from the Windsor Castle in the past weeks.

On the other hand, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have contributed to a furore in the social media in order to celebrate the Queen’s special day by sharing a sweet photo of the trio, which was captured at the Chelsea Flower Show back in 2019. The Kensington Royal account on Instagram captioned the picture reading, “Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very happy 94th birthday today!” followed by a birthday cake and balloon emoji.
And when it came to Prince Charles, the royal son sent a heart-warming message to his mother on the official Clarence House Instagram handle. He conveyed an affectionate memorial to the old lady, posting a couple of their recollections that traced the childhood of Charles, to a recent photograph depicting the duo in a candid moment from the Braemar Games, with the caption, “Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very Happy 94th Birthday.”
Queen Elizabeth is currently staying with Prince Philip(98) at Windsor Castle to maintain social distancing norms that have come up with stringent COVID-19 restrictions. This was the first time the monarch cancelled her birthday party in the 68-years that she has been ruling. Similar measures were taken up by Westminster Abbey whose bells didn’t ring to honour the Queen in the first time after more than a decade.
