As international conjecture about leader Kim Jong Un took an introspective feat with accounts stating he underwent cardiac surgery, the state media of North Korea, however hardly mentioned any clue about his appearance on Wednesday. Officials from South Korea, China- the country’s only ally and some sources of the US intelligence team have shredded serious apprehension on the surfacing press reports, led by White House’s investigative gesture.
That was prompted by the US President Donald Trump, who added a tone of ambiguity to such claims saying in a White House news conference dated on Tuesday, “I just hope he’s doing fine. I’ve had a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un. And I’d like to see him do well.” The first cogitation about the supreme chief’s health issues flared up when he did not turn up for the birthday anniversary of North Korea’s founding predecessor and his grandfather -Kim Il Sung on April 15.

And when it took to a Seoul-based digital media namely Daily NK, the dispatch addressed on Monday in the late hours, announcing Kim needed hospitalisation several hours before he underwent the surgery which was on April 12 and detailed about his worrying health long back in August resulting from hefty smoking habits, corpulence and stressed working conditions. It further described that Kim was now being treated at a manor situated in Mount Myohyang. That was met with the Blue House’s report stating a similar belief that Kim was residing with some warm adherents in Pyongyang, North Korea’s capital who also added that no emergency reaction has been surpassed from any of North Korea’s governing party, military or cabinet.
