Erling Haaland Of Manchester City Is Now More Attainable For Real Madrid

Erling Haaland: Manchester City’s Star Now Within Reach for Real Madrid

Real Madrid gets boost in targeting Erling Haaland

The Premier League champions Manchester City and their star, Erling Haaland, are about to finalize a contract extension that will make him the highest-paid player in the league based only on his base pay.

Haaland’s current contract finishes in 2027, and thanks to his bonuses, his weekly pay has increased to around £85,000.

The contract will also contain a release clause

The contract with a release clause will give the former Borussia Dortmund forward more control over his future at the club, benefiting clubs like Real Madrid who have been linked with him.

Haaland isn’t necessarily a top priority for Los Blancos now that Kylian Mbappé has arrived at Santiago Bernabeu. If the parties agree on a transfer, they could be able to sign the Norwegian in the future thanks to a release clause.

Similar actions were taken by Manchester City when they acquired Haaland from Dortmund for an alleged £51 million.

The Cityzens lead the Premier League standings after winning their opening three games of the year. After the international break, on September 14, they play Brentford.

Haaland scored seven out of nine goals scored by Man City this season

Norwegian star Haaland has scored seven out of nine goals for Man City this season, including two Premier League hat-tricks against Ipswich Town and West Ham United. This marks the second consecutive hat-trick for Haaland.

He scored his first hat-trick against Crystal Palace in his first season, then four days later he scored another hat-trick against Nottingham Forest. When it comes to the amount of hat-tricks scored in the Premier League, only three players—Robbie Fowler, Alan Shearer, and Sergio Aguero—have scored more than the 24-year-old.

With 275 Premier League games played, Aguero has 12 hat-tricks; Shearer has 11 in 441 games; and Fowler has 9 in 379 games. In 69 outings, Haaland has already managed eight.

Haaland has scored 97 goals in 102 appearances for Manchester City, winning the Premier League twice, the Champions League, and FA Cup in his two seasons at the club.
