In an exciting development, the UK university esports organization known as NSE (National Student Esports) has recently announced an expansion of its existing partnership with the popular student discount platform UNiDAYS.

This new collaboration entails UNiDAYS LVL UP stepping up as the prestigious headline sponsor for both the NSE itself and the highly anticipated British University Esports Championship.

This enhanced partnership is expected to bring a range of benefits and opportunities to student gamers across the country, fostering a more robust and inclusive esports community within the academic realm.

They first partnered in September 2023

UNiDAYS plans to expand its participation at the 2024/25 championships by holding regular-season competitions for a range of titles during October, in addition to supporting the British University Esports Championship.

In September 2023, NSE and UNiDAYS joined for the first time to support student gamers from UK universities.

A press release stated that 113 universities participated in the 2023–2024 academic year, making it one of the biggest grassroots esports programs in the United Kingdom.

Since its founding in 2017, NSE has established itself as the UK’s biggest collegiate esports platform. For the third year running, in September 2024, it teamed up with the Chinese game company HoYoverse to work together on Genshin Impact events that were held on UK college campuses.

With the extension of its agreement with UNiDAYS, NSE now has nine partners in total. Other brands in its portfolio are gaming monitor maker iiyama, food brand Pringles, and accessories company SteelSeries.
