Launching Metafy Courses, a product intended to give customers experiences through digital material, esports and gaming coaching platform Metafy has continued to grow its product line. Metafy has introduced a range of courses that are already available for purchase, with the goal of producing in-depth digital content from gaming specialists.
Players such as Michael “Mikes” Hockom (VALORANT), Seth Manfield (Magic: The Gathering), and Gavin “Tweek” Dempsey (Super Smash Brothers Ultimate), who was a member of the Luminosity squad, are among those who have authored Metafy Courses. New courses are added on a weekly basis.
Metafy’s new product will also include collaborations between players
The new offering from Metafy will feature player partnerships in addition to solo classes. Yu-Gi-Oh players N3sh, PAKTcg, and World Champion Ruben Penaranda creating a two-hour masterclass session is one example that Metafy gave.
Each course offers tutorials, special content, or learning modules that are geared toward particular games or talents, according to a statement.
The courses presently cost between $3 to $100, according to Metafy, but since the designers choose the prices, this range is subject to change.
In addition to giving fans other educational options, Metafy Courses wants to improve its service to trainers and producers by giving them an additional way to make money off of their expertise. Thus, Metafy’s newest offering will coexist with its current ones, which include classes, groups, and coaching sessions.
In honor of the product launch, Metafy declared that it will be hosting a contest for the entire month of October. The creators with the highest number of sold courses will receive cash rewards from the competition.
October will see $15,000 (around £11,470) in prizes awarded during Metafy’s month-long competition, which will be divided into four weekly competitions. According to Metafy, a course needs to cost $10 (£7.63) or more to be eligible for the competition.
The company’s standing in esports and gaming is further cemented with the introduction of Metafy Courses, which transforms from a teaching platform into a marketplace where content creators in the gaming industry can interact with their fans.
A number of new digital products were introduced in August as a result of this change, with its Metafy Groups offering taking center stage.
Metafy continues to connect customers to esports
As part of this update, known as Metafy 2.0, a new free tier for creators was introduced. Instead of charging a fixed monthly cost, Metafy Core is a tier that takes 8% of earnings from Core members. According to Metafy, this function is intended for smaller artists who want to offer coaching, sell courses, and use its other goods without having to pay for them up front.
Since its launch in 2020, Metafy has helped users access gaming coaching and esports for a range of games, including League of Legends, Rocket League, and VALORANT. The business also has an agency called Sumo that caters to content creators in addition to its coaching marketplace platform.
Metafy CEO, Josh Fabian, said “Metafy 2.0 is designed to help creators escape the mediocrity trap by turning passion into profit. Our new Courses and Core model gives creators the tools to monetise their skills without the burden of hefty fees, letting them focus on what they love while building sustainable businesses. We’re not just an aggregator — we’re an enabler for niche experts to thrive in their communities.”
