The Riyadh Festival is a Last Chance Qualifier for the SF6 Esports World Cup 2024, with 150 registered participants competing for four remaining spots. This three-day event is a crucial opportunity for SF6 players to qualify for the final event. 

The event will decide the last 4 of the 32 final contestants at the Esports World Cup which will commence on 8 August.

Street Fighter 6 Esports World Cup

The Esports World Cup Street Fighter 6 tournament, set to begin on August 8, 2024, is a significant event for the fighting game community, featuring 32 players competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool, a substantial sum for this genre.

On August 8, 2024, the Esports World Cup Street Fighter 6 competition will begin. The final will take place on August 11, 2024, and the matches will be completed in four days.

The venue is located in Boulevard Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Street Fighter 6 event has been allotted 32 spots by the Esports World Cup. The qualifiers will be chosen in accordance with how they placed in some of the key competitions held earlier this year.

Favorites for Last Four spots

After a few Esports World Cup 2024 qualifiers, some of the best Street Fighter players have already earned their spots in the final event. Still, many top-level competitors are out, so they hope to win one of four spots at this EWC Last Chance Qualifier.

Some of the notable challengers for the last 4 spots are EndingWalker, Mister Crimson, Fenritti, Momochi, Xian, John Takeuchi, Caba and Dual Kevin.

While they remain the favorites, many other strong players, specifically from Japan, participate in the SF6 Esports World Cup 2024 Last Chance Qualifier. So, it’s safe to say that the competition will be very exciting.

The Street Fighter 6 Riyadh Festival has double-elimination brackets. Most matches are Best of 3, but in the top 8 brackets, the fights become Best of 5.

There is the rule that a winner of a game should keep their character for the next one in the current set. A loser can switch characters.
