In Aliens vs. Avengers #1, Earth is attacked by Xenomorphs from the Aliens franchise. A Facehugger encounter reveals the Venom symbiote’s immunity to the Xenomorphs, giving humanity the best chance of survival.

The Avengers, including older versions of iconic heroes like Captain Marvel and the Hulk, and Miles Morales, wear an epic Spider-Man symbiote suit, are set in a brutal alternate universe.

Valeria Richards searching for a way to defeat the Xenomorph

In Aliens vs. Avengers #1, Valeria Richards, a grown woman, seeks to defeat the Xenomorph scourge. Her search is unsuccessful, and her tragic death leads Miles to be attacked by a Facehugger, revealing that symbiote seemingly outperforms Xenomorph.

Aliens vs. Avengers is a 20th Century Studios and Marvel Entertainment collaboration, comparable to Predator vs. Wolverine and Predator vs. Black Panther.

Two android scientists transmit Queen Xenomorph eggs to Earth and other worlds, causing the planet to be overrun by aliens. After decades of failure, Valeria seeks a pre-hatched Ovomorph egg in order to construct a virus capable of destroying future eggs.

Valeria’s plan to save Spider-Man from the Xenomorph failed, but her efforts were not in vain. The Hulk breaks into Valeria’s lab, revealing a Facehugger attacking Miles Morales. Peter Weyland and Bruce Banner kill Spider-Man.

The Venom symbiote, turning Miles’ suit white, infects the Facehugger, transforming it into a Venom-Facehugger. The Venom-Facehugger reattaches to Spider-Man’s suit, proving that the symbiotes of Klyntar may be the only Marvel characters able to stop the Xenomorph.

Symbiotic parasite that has had many years adapting to various superbeings

Bruce, Valeria, and other heroes have discovered a complete immunity to Xenomorph proliferation on Earth. Venom, a parasitic parasite that has evolved to adapt to many Marvel Universe superheroes, may hold the key to destroying the Xenomorphs.

If Bruce Banner can weaponize Venom’s control, the Avengers may be able to preserve humanity. Spider-Man, on the other hand, wishes to leave Earth because the Venom symbiote may be enough to keep the Xenomorph hordes at bay while a segment of humanity escapes into space, preserving humanity’s heritage in an alien-devastated cosmos.
