Fifth season will mark end of Stranger Things
In a bittersweet announcement made by the talented creators Matt and Ross Duffer in February 2022, it was revealed that the widely acclaimed science fiction series will bid its final farewell with the upcoming release of its fifth and last season. Fans of the beloved show can anticipate the culmination of the storyline as it airs, marking the end of an era for this iconic series that has captivated audiences since its inception.
They wrote “Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things. At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but – as you’ll soon see for yourselves – we are now hurling toward our finale.”
Linda Hamilton, who starred in Terminator, will be joining the cast for the show’s final season, Netflix revealed in June 2023.
