Elon Musk Calls Jeff Bezos a Copycat in one of his Tweet
Elon Musk has once again called Jeff Bezos a copycat following the cumulative attempts to take a dig at his competitor since the past.
The legend recently addressed Amazon founder Jeff Bezos calling him copycat following the e-commerce giant’s announcement of acquiring the self-driving start-up namely, Zoox. He took over twitter to share a link of an article on the same posting, “Jeff Bezos is a copy [cat emoji] haha”.
In 2019, when Amazon declared its plans to launch 3,236 satellites into orbit aimed at providing broadband Internet access, the projected stroke a similar note with Musk’s SpaceX mission in late 2017 when it launched Starlink Internet satellites around its Falcon 9 rocket. Then the CEO of Tesla responded to a story on Project Kuiper, tagging Bezos and wrote: “copy” followed by the cat emoji.

A few years ago, the duo had a face-off debating about who happened to be the first space entrepreneur to pave way for a successful launch of a reusable rocket. In 2015, when Bezos posted his tweet voicing the pride of the successful launch and landing of Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket in the name of ‘the rarest of beasts’, Musk reverted, “Not quite “rarest”. SpaceX Grasshopper rocket did 6 suborbital flights 3 years ago & is still around.” Indeed, such an abrupt statement defines the tough competition between the players.

Cut to a BBC interview from 2016, Musk was posed with the question of competency with regulators and businessmen in the forum of rockets as well as Detroit in the motor industry. When the tech expert was asked about Bezos in particular, he simply pretended that the name was hardly recognised in the field. He shook his shoulders replying in a sportive manner, ‘Jeff who?’.
The Musk-Bezos rift erupted long way back in 2013 when SpaceX won the deal for the chronicled launch of Pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center ruling out Bezos’ Blue Origin.
Now it seems that the ongoing feud might soar above the heightened levels in future as is evident from the present.
