Rebel Wilson proudly introduced her adorable 22-month-old daughter, named Rebel after herself, to the world at the red carpet premiere of her new movie, The Deb, during the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival.
The little Rebel stole the show with her cute outfit and sweet smiles, capturing the hearts of all in attendance at the star-studded event.
At the yearly film festival, Royce donned a dress with an oversize sweater on top and posed for pictures with her mother, who was wearing a purple gown and an updo in her hair.
The pair got engaged in February 2023
Ramona Agruma, Wilson’s fiancée, was also there and they posed together on the red carpet with the actress. The couple proposed in February of 2023.
Wilson used a surrogate to welcome her daughter on November 7, 2022. She wrote on Instagram “I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle!”
The actress subsequently disclosed to PEOPLE that Royce Lillian Elizabeth Wilson is the full name of her daughter. Wilson gave an explanation of the significance of each of her names. She said “I wanted an original name starting with the letter R and so eventually landed on that one. Lillian and Elizabeth are both family names carried by women in my family who I admire. Elizabeth, which is also my middle name, after the late Queen.”
“I throw Royce up in the air until she giggles”
Wilson told PEOPLE in August of last year that seeing her daughter when she gets home is the highlight of her day. She said “I throw Royce up in the air until she giggles, I tickle her and I help put her to bed. She just melts my heart,”
She also added that her daughters first word were “Mama”.
The Deb is an Australian musical about a high school outcast (Natalie Abbott) redefining herself at her town’s Debutante Ball. Director Rebel Wilson is proud of the film’s outcome and recently expressed her pride in her directing debut.
Romeo and Juliet, a film musical set in Verona, is one of Wilson’s other forthcoming projects. It is slated for release in 2025. There is currently no release date for The Deb, which also stars Jean, Tara Morice, Charlotte MacInnes, and Shane Jacobson.
