Jason Tartick and Kat Stickler, who had been in a relationship for approximately six months, have recently decided to mutually end their romantic involvement.
They made the announcement through individual posts on their Instagram Stories, confirming that they have parted ways.
The separation was publicly revealed on Saturday, October 12, marking the conclusion of their time together as a couple.
“I am sad to share that Kat and I are no longer together,”
In a statement, the 35-year-old Bachelorette alum Tartick confirmed the breakup, stating that he and Stickler, 29, parted “amicably” and that he is “rooting for her happiness” going forward.
He wrote “I am sad to share that Kat and I are no longer together, It’s fair to say that I love hard with all my heart and fall fast. Sometimes in life, that works out and other times it doesn’t. This time it didn’t.”
He added “Kat has brought me so much happiness and light, she brought out parts of me I never knew existed. I will forever be grateful for her and of course, sweet and MK, This chapter closes amicably, and another opens. I’ll be rooting for her happiness and I am also rooting for mine. ❤️,”
Meanwhile, Stickler, a TikTok creator, addressed the split in a video. She said “So with two back-to-back hurricanes, I obviously didn’t think it was the right time to talk about my personal life. But a lot of you have already guessed and, yes, Jason and I have broken up,”
She said that the breakup was “amicable” and that the romance “just didn’t work.”
She added “I don’t want to talk about it, I understand that with posting a relationship online you also have to show this side, the aftermath — Woohoo, so fun I love this,”
“But I just wanted to tell you guys and it’s not love wasted. I feel like sometimes its so easy to think that when a relationship ends that the love is wasted. But love is never wasted. So, that’s all I have to say.” She concluded.
During an interview with PEOPLE in March, Tartick made hints about the couple’s relationship but refrained from confirming it. He said, “I only have incredible things to say about her,” and went on to call the social media star “an amazing person, lovely, great mother [and] hilarious content creator” at the time.
Pair made their red carpet debut at the Formula 1 race in Miami
The two made their red carpet debut at the Formula 1 event in Miami the following month, having already been spotted together at the Stagecoach Music Festival in April. In a June 17 episode of his Trading Secrets podcast, Tartick revealed the relationship.
He said “It’s such an exciting time in my life, and I’m just beyond thankful for all the love and support, I honestly have no other words than peace, happiness, and just grateful. Like, just very, very, very, very grateful.”
The former Bachelorette also disclosed that Stickler celebrated his mother’s birthday and Father’s Day with his family.
Tartick said “Kat is here, and my parents are here, and this is the first time that she’s meeting everyone, So it’s it’s a really, really special time, and I’m just beyond, beyond grateful for everything. And so. thank you. I feel like I’m gonna get emotional, so I’m gonna stop. But thank you.”
Stickler, a mother of four, made the couple’s Instagram relationship official a few days earlier on June 12 when she published a combined photo of them. She shared pictures of Tartick kissing Stickler on the cheek and embracing her from behind, writing, “Heart is full .”
Tartick called off his engagement to Bachelor Nation’s Kaitlyn Bristowe after four years together, prior to starting a relationship with Stickler. August 2023 saw the announcement of the news via social media.
The couple wrote “After sharing the news with family and close friends first, and taking the time to properly process it ourselves, we are saddened with heavy hearts to share that we have decided to end our engagement,”
After taking some time to think about life and love following the split, Tartick posted on Instagram a few months later, saying he had “never felt better.”
He said “I have put so much effort, time and work into understanding myself at the deepest levels and further understanding others, The liberation of knowing yourself to the core and then being able to see others for who they really are and why is truly euphoric.”
