On her 32nd birthday which fell on Friday, October 11, Cardi B, the talented rapper and mother of three, was showered with special birthday love from her children.
She took to her Instagram Stories to share a heartwarming video, showcasing the thoughtful gifts she received from her 6-year-old daughter Kulture and 3-year-old son Wave, both of whom she lovingly co-parents with her estranged husband, Offset.
“Thank you, baby!”
“Thank you, baby!” In what looked to be their front hall, Cardi could be heard saying as her oldest daughter smiled.
Cardi showed her gifts and said “My daughter got me these balloons, And these flowers,”
Then, as she picked up a homemade card with a blue heart made of stickers, some tiny hands within it, and text, Cardi said, “Wave did this for me.”
Cardi informed her fans that the next handcrafted card was from Kulture. Her daughter pointed to her gift, which had an image of a cupcake and the words “I love you” inscribed on a hand. “And look what it says,” she remarked.
Cardi read it “Mom, I love you more than cupcakes,”
“Lizzo needs to be my man,”
After that, Cardi switched the camera to another sizable bunch of pale pink roses that Lizzo had given her.
“Yo, one thing about Lizzo, she’s gonna get me some flowers,” Cardi said. She also added “Lizzo needs to be my man, Me and @lizzobeeating need to date now.”
Previously, the 36-year-old Lizzo and Cardi worked together on the 2021 song “Rumors.”
Less than a month has passed since Cardi and 32-year-old Offset had their third child on September 7.
On Thursday, September 12, the celebrity shared an Instagram carousel to announce the birth of her second baby. She attached pictures and a video of the five-member family.
Cardi initially made her pregnancy public on Instagram on Thursday, August 1, the day after she filed for Offset’s divorce after six years of marriage.
Since becoming a mother of three, Cardi has updated her postpartum exercise routine, published behind-the-scenes footage of her most recent childbirth experience, visited Paris Fashion Week wearing multiple head-turning outfits, and even disclosed how she “automatically” knew she was expecting her third kid.
