Amy Adams’ daughter, Aviana Olea Le Gallo, made her red carpet debut at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, alongside her husband Darren Le Gallo, on the red carpet for her new film Nightbitch.
“Parts of it I’m excited to share with her”
Adams wore a midnight blue Prada gown for the premiere, while Aviana wore a strapless black dress. Adams shared the joy of sharing the movie with her daughter on the TIFF red carpet.
She said “Parts of it I’m excited to share with her, being that it’s her mom I’m gonna be a little bit more protective of certain aspects of the filmmaking,”
“I think what I want her to know about my experience of motherhood is how much she’s enriched my life and made me the woman that I am today,” she continued “I tell her that all the time, but it’s true and I’m glad that she’s here tonight to get to celebrate with me,”
Adams also spoke about turning 50
The six-time Oscar nominee also spoke about turning 50 on August 20, and she is more excited than ever to begin a new decade.
“I feel wonderful at 50,” she stated “I know everyone’s like, ‘Oh, it’s 50’ … I feel great,” she insists, adding, “I feel very grateful, just very centered and happy to be here, really grateful.”
The character Adams plays in her upcoming movie pauses her career to be a stay-at-home mom, but soon her new domesticity takes a surreal turn, according to the synopsis. The novel by author Rachel Yoder from 2021 is adapted in the movie.
Over the years, Adams has been transparent about her experiences as a mother. In a 2017 interview with Entertainment Tonight, she expressed her desire to serve as an example for her daughter.
“I want [Aviana] to know that it is not just women that can soar, she can soar and she needs to find her own light. I know she is on that path, That is something that I need to remind her. No light that shines on me creates a shadow for her to stand in.” Said Adams.
