On the television series, contestants eagerly participate in a fierce competition where they strive to secure a coveted spot in Amazon’s exclusive Buy It Now Store, a game-changing opportunity that offers not only unmatched exposure but also a generous reward of $20,000.

“Entrepreneurs get 90 seconds to pitch their product”

Hosted by the charismatic JB Smoove, the show unfolds as aspiring entrepreneurs deliver their persuasive pitches within a tight 90-second window to win over “The 100,” a discerning audience of potential customers eagerly waiting to be impressed.

The entrepreneurs go to a panel of Amazon executives and well-known entrepreneurs if the group approves of the product and price. The description goes on to say, “The panel chooses which products go into Amazon’s exclusive Buy It Now Store and gives one entrepreneur $20,000 every episode.”

Gwyneth Paltrow, Anthony Anderson, Tabitha Brown, Tony Hawk, Christian Siriano, and Amazon executives Jenny Freshwater, Tanner Elton, Carmen Nestares, and Michelle Rothman are among the celebrity panelists that rotate. The creator of Ring, Jamie Siminoff, will appear frequently as the resident judge and panelist on entrepreneurship.

The products feature everything

From “the perfect lighted vanity” to a “guilt-free ethnic fusion snack,” the products have it all.

The panelists are seeking entrepreneurs whose ideas most closely align with the four Ps: pitch, product, popularity, and problem-solving abilities, according to Smoove.

The Buy It Now Store, which launches in conjunction with the show’s premiere and can be accessed via a QR code featured in an episode, will feature the new products in addition to merchandise from celebrity panelists’ brands, such as Paltrow’s Goop, Anderson’s AC Barbeque, and Brown’s Donna’s Recipe.

For those who can’t get enough of Buy It Now, on October 31st, Prime Video will officially start This is Small Business: Behind the Buy, a podcast that will revisit the episode from the previous night.
