Neymar’s father has expressed overwhelming happiness and relief as the talented Brazilian football star is eagerly awaiting his return to the field following a prolonged recovery from a serious anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained in October of the previous year.

This injury forced the Al-Hilal forward to put his career on hold, causing fans and supporters to eagerly anticipate his comeback and the revival of his electrifying performance on the pitch.

Neymar joined Al-Hilal in 2023

Neymar left Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in 2023 to join Al-Hilal for an estimated €90 million. The 32-year-old, nevertheless, only made five appearances for the team prior to suffering a season-ending injury in a World Cup qualifying match against Uruguay.

Following surgery, he has been recuperating. The former Barcelona and PSG player resumed training in July, but he hasn’t been cleared to play yet.

The Brazilian forward won’t be playing in the Saudi Pro League until January, but he can still participate in Al-Hilal’s Champions League matches.

He has been out for 378 days

He broke his previous record of 130 days missing due to an ankle injury sustained while playing for PSG in the 2022–2023 season. This is the longest he has missed from action.

Neymar had a significant impact for Al-Hilal before to his injury. He contributed three assists and one goal in five games for the Saudi club. When he eventually makes it back onto the field, he hopes to increase his total.
