World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, known for his exceptional in-ring skills and unwavering commitment to his character, has recently been reaching new heights in his career.
Despite his consistent portrayal, a surprising moment occurred when The Ring General momentarily stepped out of character to speak about his highly anticipated match scheduled for the upcoming Crown Jewel event.
This rare departure from his usual demeanor left fans intrigued and eager to see how this unexpected development would impact his performance inside the squared circle.
“May the best man win”
Cody Rhodes made a cameo at a recent WWE Live Event in Manchester, welcoming Tom Aspinall, the interim UFC Heavyweight Champion. Additionally, the World Heavyweight Champion showed up and gave the latter his congrats on his amazing achievement.
Furthermore, The Ring General acknowledged that the three TKO champions were present together and requested a photo of the group. In addition, Gunther unexpectedly broke character by saying, “May the best man win,” in reference to his impending fight with Cody Rhodes.
He said “First of all, from one heavyweight champion to another, it’s my pleasure to meet you and congratulations on all your success. Cody, since now, all three of the top TKO champions in the ring, we can take a picture together. And before anybody feels I got bad manners, Cody, at Crown Jewel, may the better man win,”
They are set to collide at Crown Jewel
At Crown Jewel, a historic match involving the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is scheduled to take place.
The winner of the bout would be crowned the Crown Jewel Champion, Triple H declared at Bad Blood.
This week on WWE RAW, Gunther and Rhodes squared off against one another, waging a fierce verbal battle and declaring victory at Crown Jewel.
Even though WWE has a lot of possibilities, it’s difficult to anticipate who will suffer a significant defeat. At Crown Jewel in Riyadh, fans will have to wait and see what WWE has in store for both world champions.
