Sentinels have officially signed Marshall “N4RRATE” Massey and Sean “bang” Bezerra for the upcoming VCT 2025 season, which is a huge step for the VALORANT NA competitive scene. The departure of two key players, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi, who have left a significant hole in the team’s lineup, has resulted in this roster adjustment.
N4RRATE return to North America
Marshall “N4RRATE” Massey is returning to North America following a year-long assignment with Karmine Corp. in EMEA. N4RRATE demonstrated his ability as an initiator while he was in Europe, garnering recognition for his exceptional exploits.
He played a key role in Karmine Corp.’s early 2024 success, which enabled them to earn the top seed from EMEA in Masters Madrid. He was eliminated in the Swiss Stage, but he was the player with the best rating at the end of the competition.
The return of N4RRATE to North America is eagerly awaited. As he takes on a role that calls for both skill and leadership to fill TenZ’s shoes, his expertise and talent will be extremely important.
A stalwart of the VALORANT scene, Sean “bang” Bezerra is most known for his tenure with 100 Thieves. Bang was a key player as a controller for almost three years, helping to lead several teams to victories such as the North American Last Chance Qualifier in 2022 and a top-four victory at Masters Shanghai in 2024.
But after a decline in performance that prevented them from making it to Champions, Bang declared his exit from 100 Thieves, calling it “the hardest decision of [his] career.” His arrival to the Sentinels stabilizes and adds experience to a group that has seen significant changes recently.
The departures of TenZ and Sacy leave significant gaps in Sentinels’ roster
There are big holes in the Sentinels’ lineup after TenZ and Sacy left. For the squad to succeed during its 2024 championship run, both players were essential. With tournament victory at Masters Madrid and a solid showing at Champions, Sentinels were one of the most successful teams from the Americas last year.
Bang and N4RRATE will have to swiftly adjust to their new surroundings and dynamics as a team. Their track record of success indicates that they may be able to keep Sentinels’ competitive advantage.
The new roster for Sentinels include:
- Zachary “zekken” Patrone
- Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro
- Mohamed “johnqt” Amine Ouarid
- Marshall “N4RRATE” Massey
- Sean “bang” Bezerra
- Rahul “curry” Nemani (Manager)
- Bryan “Zyto” Ybanez (Manager)
- Adam “kaplan” Kaplan (Head Coach)
This new roster will need to perform well in the upcoming season as they look to build on their previous accomplishments and incorporate fresh tactics and playmaking techniques.
