Madonna Celebrates 66th Birthday In The Same Italian Resort Where Jennifer Lopez Also Stayed

Over the weekend, Madonna joyously embraced turning 66 surrounded by the warmth of family and the charm of Italy. In the exclusive retreat known for hosting celebrities, she basked in the celebrations with her companions – her 11-year-old twins, Estere and Stella, and the company of her rumored beau, Akeem Morris, the talented soccer player. The picturesque setting of Italy added a touch of magic to the memorable occasion, making it a truly special birthday retreat.

Madonna stayed at Positano’s Villa TreVille resort in Italy, the same five-star hotel Jennifer Lopez booked earlier this summer. The former summer retreat of Director Franco Zeffirelli is now owned by Govind Friedland and managed by general manager Martino Acampora, with rooms costing upwards of $2,000 per night.

From the balcony of La Tagliata restaurant in Montepertuso, Madonna enjoyed a typical Italian Ferragosto celebration on her birthday, which included fireworks over the Amalfi Coast. 

She had an intimate supper at the Pompeii Archaeological Park with about thirty of her guests.

The meal, which was prepared by the three-Michelin-starred Quattro Passi restaurant and managed by Villa TreVille’s Chef Vincenzo Castaldo, was said to have been influenced by the Amalfi Coast’s culinary traditions and the Mediterranean diet.

Quattro Passi chefs Antonio and Fabrizio Mellino crafted a Mediterranean-inspired menu for Madonna’s birthday dinner, featuring locally sourced ingredients like organic vegetables, seafood from the Sorrento Peninsula, Menaica anchovies, and homemade bread. Their signature dishes included mini penne with zucchini and escarole, and bruschetta with Sorrento tomatoes and olives.

Madonna and her guests enjoyed white grouper and red seabream, beef filet, potato salad, focaccia pizza, and eggplant dishes. They also enjoyed Campania region desserts like baba cakes with rum, sfogliatelle, chocolate and coffee profiteroles, and Sorrento lemon tarts.

Later, at around 10:30 p.m., Madonna and her loved ones arrived at an old theater in the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, where they were treated to a performance by a local youth organization called Sogno di Volare (Dream of Flying), which Madonna funds.

Gabriel Zuchtriegel, the park’s director, also gave them a guided tour.

Zuchtriegel said “The Dream of Flying project so generously supported by Madonna is strategic for Pompei because it addresses the people living in this wonderful and complex territory, particularly the young, and makes them protagonists of an experience through which we wanted to demonstrate that art and culture truly can change our lives,”

In the past, Madonna celebrated her 66th birthday on Instagram with a series of glitzy photos, some of which featured her with a shirtless Morris. She wrote, “Back in Italy… Happy Birthday to ME ✨♥️.”
