Sheamus Declared War On Pete Dunne After His Shillelagh Attack

In a recent episode of RAW, Sheamus, Ludwig Kaiser, and Braun Strowman faced off in a Triple Threat Match to advance in the Intercontinental Championship No.1 Contender’s tournament. Just as The Celtic Warrior seemed to win, 30-year-old Pete Dunne, the WWE Superstar, made a surprise attack on him with a shillelagh. 

Caused The Star To Lose The Match

Pete Dunne is in a fierce feud with the former WWE Champion. He’s been attacking him with a shillelagh in matches and backstage. This time, Dunne’s interference caused the Irish star to lose, and Braun Strowman won the match.

Sheamus posted a picture on his Twitter showing his bruised back with a big red scar. Moreover, he has declared war on Pete Dunne.

“What he doesn’t realise is… Irish retribution is a completely different thing. #petesdone this is war,” Sheamus posted with a picture highlighting the intensity of the fued, reported by Sportskeeda.

Sheamus, who performs on the SmackDown brand. He has achieved significant success in WWE, including multiple World Heavyweight Championships and tag team titles.

Sheamus Will Seek Revenge

The Irish weapon, shillelagh, underscores the seriousness of Sheamus’s talk about Irish retribution. It’s likely that Sheamus will seek revenge, something that didn’t end well for Pete Dunne in the past. 

Dunne has moved on to the next round of the Intercontinental Championship No.1 Contender’s tournament while The Sheamus stayed out of the match. 

Sheamus has made a strong presence on the RAW brand. Although he may no longer be in his prime, he continues to excel in his role within the locker room and remains highly loved by the WWE Universe. 

“The originator, the instigator, and the custodian of The Banger Era™ #BangerAfterBanger,” Sheamus posted as he declared himself as the founder of “The Banger Era,” reported by Sportskeeda. 

He has previously defeated The Bruiserweight despite suffering from an injury caused by the shillelagh. It will be intriguing to see if Dunne can overcome The Celtic Warrior now that Sheamus has declared war on him.
