Recently, Irish professional wrestler Sheamus challenged a WWE star who hasn’t competed in seven months. The Celtic Warrior also expressed his passion for the physicality of wrestling and he vows to deliver it in every match.
Sheamus Served As The First Guest Picker
As a part of ESPN’s College Football Season coverage, Sheamus, the four-time WWE World Champion returned to Dublin, Ireland. He served as the first guest picker on College Gameday and accurately predicted Georgia Tech’s victory over No. 10 Florida State in the season opener at Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Sheamus, known for his powerful and intense wrestling style, has been a prominent figure in WWE for over a decade since 2006. A four-time WWE World Champion, he has also won the Royal Rumble and the Money in the Bank ladder match, and won almost everything except for the Intercontinental Championship.
Sheamus was a special guest on The Pat McAfee Show before making his appearance on College Gameday. Moreover, They discussed Sheamus’s career that even includes his start at Florida Championship Wrestling.

Pat McAfee, who last competed at the 2024 Royal Rumble, boasted about his NXT wrestling career but humorously declined Sheamus’ challenge for a match.
The Celtic Warrior shares his thoughts about the physical style of wrestling as he wants to “bring out something that hasn’t been seen yet” from his opponents.
“I love it when someone steps up to me, you know? And like they bring it and it’s something they haven’t seen before and I’m just smacking them and then they’re smacking me back. There’s all these rules before in wrestling where people just say, ‘Oh, you’re taking liberties. You just try and beat up their opponent.’ But for me, it’s not that. I want to fire them up. I want to bring out something that they hasn’t been seen yet in their career,” Celtic Warrior said
