The Duke and Duchess of Sussex lay off staff in London following “Megxit”

Till the time when British media is strangling with the imperial issue of the dignified pair, the biggest question has been the brace’s plans of steering through their career set amidst a new location. And now that sparks are surfacing about their transitional phase, the catechism of loyalty towards the royal household has accompanied throughout. Despite the severe criticism of the publication forums, one can’t simply abstain from facts.

The fortuitous dismissal knocks the passage

After stepping down as senior Royals from the Windsor heritage in January, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly laid off their staff in London, who also closed their office at Buckingham Palace.

The couple informed their staff in person in the last month after they announced their decision of quitting the Royal family, according to The Daily Mail. Out of the 15 people who were laid off, it has been heard that one or two from them might start working within the Royal household if absorbed. Meanwhile, others from the team are in the process of negotiating superfluous packages.

The obvious prolixity: Job-losses

The Buckingham Palace has desisted from commenting on the matter. A few sources shared, “Given their decision to step back, an office at Buckingham Palace is no longer needed. While the details are still being finalized and efforts are being made to redeploy people within the royal household, unfortunately, there will be some redundancies.”

When esteem downplays other aspects

Foreign media has reported, “The Duke and Duchess have a small team, less than 15 people. The team is very loyal to the Sussexes and understand and respect the decision they have taken. They are all close to and supporting each other. The team is busy helping to set their Royal Highnesses up for the future and working on a series of final engagements,” citing sources.
