The Roshn Saudi League side Al-Ettifaq have reached an agreement to sign Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr teammate Abdullah Madu on a permanent transfer this summer following a disappointing match in 2023- 2024. The move can be seen as Steven Gerrard’s side are trying to strengthen their ranks.

Al-Nassr are one of the three teams to participate in all seasons of the Pro League and the strongest squads in the Saudi Pro League. The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has further made its presence all over the world , helping the club attract several top stars from Europe and beyond over the last 18 months.
Abdullah Madu, who played as a defender is a star for the Knights of Najd, although the arrival of Aymeric Laporte has pushed him down. He secured a loan move to Al-Ettifaq for the second half of the 2023-24 season, playing 12 times for Steven Gerrard’s side as they finished in sixth place.
Abdullah Madu Joining Al-Ettifaq on permanent basis
As per some of the reports Madu will return to Al-Ettifaq and this time he will return on a permanent deal from Al-Nassr after an agreement was signed . Madu the Saudi Arabian professional footballer, 31, will join Gerrard’s side as a new signing, further adding his experience and help them to win and get top ranks.
This time Cristiano Ronaldo may again also lose another Al-Nassr teammate to Al-Ettifaq, as they remain interested in Ivorian midfielder Seko Fofana. The former player Abdullah Madu spent the second half of the 2023-24 season on loan at Al-Ettifaq.
Furthermore, Cristiano Ronaldo may get a new teammate from Europe after Al-Nassr have developed contacts with Spanish midfielder Dani Olmo.
