Michael Phelps, the 28-time Olympic medalist, was seen with his wife Nicole, and their youngest son, Nico supporting Team USA’s women’s basketball team. The three were seen On the August 7 game between Team USA and Nigeria.

In the photograph, both parents were seen holding Nico in a standing position as he looked onto the basketball court, sitting alongside Olympic swimmer Allison Schmitt.

Schmitt, “helping out Nicole and Michael with Nico” in Paris, adding, “I’m so happy I get my baby snuggles.” She told PEOPLE

Schmitt, 34, a 10-time medalist, also shared a photo on Instagram with Nicole and Nico, along with another photo featuring Michael, Katie Ledecky, and the women’s basketball team.

Phelps family supporting Team USA

The Phelps family was seen out in red, white, and blue, with Nico wearing a tiny T-shirt with striped stars, blue shorts, and protective blue headphones. His wife Nicole, 39, was seen with her nails painted in three colors, wearing a bright red shirt with the “USA,” logo, and their son Michael was wearing a blue hat with the USA logo.

Team USA  defeated Nigeria with a final score of 88-74 and is now headed to the semi-finals against Australia.

Michael posted a carousel on Instagram 

Michael Phelps posted some photos of the game to his social media with a caption.”Nicole n Nico’s first @usabasketball game!!! Love watching these ladies make history!! Go USA ,” 

His carousel included selfies with the basketball team and with Ledecky,  Schmitt, and a selfie with Nicole and Nico.

Moreover, he posted pictures with his son smiling in front of the Eiffel Tower and watching the Games from the stands, with the caption, “Baby’s first rave .”
