WWE legends John Cena and Randy Orton are known for their on-screen rivalry and off-screen friendship. However, former WWE Superstar Nic Nemeth thinks that a 31-time champion was an even greater challenge for Cenation leader

Even Better Opponent for The Cenation Leader

“I just remember when I was younger, it was him (John Cena) and Randy constantly going back and forth,” Nic Nemeth said.

In a recent podcast, former WWE Superstar Nic Nemeth highlighted how Edge played a key role in shaping John Cena’s career, remembering numerous intense matches between Cena and The Viper during his younger years.

“Those two guys, like, made each other. And that was like the first cash-in, and it was the only way to get past Cena, and it was like such a huge moment, and it was like that was the good guys and the bad guys,” Nic Nemeth stated.

The 31-time WWE champion Edge also known as Adam Copeland came back for a short time before joining AEW. Sadly, fans never got to see a match between Cena and Edge after he returned from injury.

McIntyre Expresses Determination Against Match With Cena

At Fanatics Fest NYC, The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre expressed his determination to push management for a singles match against Cena, emphasizing that such a match would give him the chance to challenge Cena both verbally and in the ring.

“I guarantee I’ll be pushing and I’ll nudging them left and right to make it happen because the amount of stories I’ve got about Punk and things that happened when I was younger, I’ve got tenfold on him. There’s never been a one-on-one match, and if I have to drive management crazy, I’ll drive them crazy, drive John crazy. I’m gonna get that match, and I’ll tear him apart on the microphone, which not many people can do, in the ring, and send him packing into a happy retirement, and hopefully Punk along with him,” Drew McIntyre said.
