Following days since Netflix came to release the sequel of the popular rom-com, admirers knew that a third movie is advancing on its way. And that came true when the line up of stars including Joey King, Joel Courtney, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Taylor Zakhar Perez, and Meganne Young announced the great news during the movie’s virtual fan fest over the weekend.
At that time, Courtney who was engaged in an interaction with the fans revealed that the cast had already finished shooting the film while they genuinely shot the second and third films at the same time. Then King sparked, “It was the hardest secret to keep ever!”.
The team also voiced about the comeback of Vince Marcello as director for the third movie. But he wasn’t the only member to return to the plot! The co-stars meanwhile confirmed the return of King, Courtney, Richardson-Sellers, Zakhar Perez, Young, Molly Ringwald, and Jacob Elordi on the sets of the same.
Now, what can be expected from the third film so far down the timeline? If we go by Deadline’s reports, the third movie is set during summer until the character of King namely Elle Evans heads off for college life. In a particular plot, she needs to opt for a big decision. While Elle has got a nod from Harvard for her admission, where boyfriend Noah Flynn (Elordi) studies, she has simultaneously qualified Berkeley’s criteria, where BFF Lee Flynn (Courtney) is set to build her career. To turn as a witness to the ultimate moment of Elle, we need to hold back our patience while a stolen glimpse from the film shows Elle ignoring a call from Harvard’s Admissions Office.
The Kissing Booth 3 is readying for release in 2021.
