Queen Elizabeth Says They Will Be Successful In The Fight Against Coronavirus
Queen Elizabeth II has recently addressed on Sunday, speaking about the fight against the coronavirus pandemic around the world.
“I am speaking to you at what I know is an increasingly challenging time,’’ the 93-year-old said. “A time of disruption in the life of our country. A disruption that has brought grief to some, financial difficulties to many and enormous changes to the daily lives of us all.”
The Queen was seen dressed in green and compared the situation with the war-time way back in 1940 in World War II. She also said at that time the children had to evacuate from their homes and sent away for their own safety amid this situation. While comparing today’s situation, she told, many have been feeling the same amid this lockdown.
She said that as the war the nation must be united and resolute to overcome this situation. Even she further added that later everyone will take pride in how they fight against this coronavirus. However, the Queen also stressed that the war was different from the current scenario.

She further added that the self-isolating might be hard now and it also gives an opportunity to slow down, pause and reflect in prayer or meditation as well. She also thanked and sent warmest good wishes to everyone.
She also thanked all the healthcare workers and those who ever working selflessly day in and day out in this situation. Moreover, one government source told The Times of London that ministers hoped the Queen’s words will help them in persuading wavering citizens to stick to the guidelines of the Govt. now.
However, her address to the people on Sunday had been pre-recorded at Windsor Castle, where she has been staying with her husband Prince Philip, 98. Only one cameraman went inside wearing protective gear to film in the White Drawing Room because the team was huge. The rest of the member were staying in the adjoining room and listening on speakers.
