Prince William opened up on how becoming a father brought back the emotions surrounding Princess Diana’s death

The heartrending BBC mental health documentary namely, ‘Football, Prince William and Our Mental Health’ has brought tears to the eyes of the audience last night for a definite reason.

Breaking through the mental disgrace

The program which is headed by the Duke of Cambridge did an all-round upon the viewers when he spoke about his grief after losing his mother.

And the massive response that followed after the session greeted Prince William saying that his dead mom would magnificently take pride in her elder son who attempted his best to erase the stigma surrounding psychological health.

The overwhelming momentum

William, however, discussed the “trauma” following his mum’s death when he was only 15 years old. Then he admitted that his emotions flooded back once he stepped into parenthood. William was engaged in a conversation with former Bolton and Burnley player Marvin Sordell, who confronted melancholy after growing up without a father. The performer told, “..and now I’ve got a child looking up at their father. I really struggled with my emotions at that time”.

A lifetime reward

Later on, he asked William for his advice to deal with the concern who responded saying, “I can relate to what you’re feeling. Having children is the biggest life-changing moment…” He further continued, “When you’ve been through something traumatic….your emotions come back in leaps and bounds.” The Prince professed the reason behind it as helplessness who admitted that the support of his wife, Kate Middleton had been predominant all throughout.

As he embraced Marvin, William said that his late father would be proud of his boy. Then, Marvin replied, “Your mum would be too” followed by the Princes’ reaction, “I appreciate that”.
