Prince Harry & Jon Bon Jovi Engage On Abbey Road- Mission: Invictus Games

Though the Duke of Sussex’s critiqued extraction from the royal household has been no Bed of Roses so far, his patronage finally got a perk on Friday when visiting a studio session with legendary soft rocker Jon Bon Jovi in London.

The improbable pair rocked out while Bon Jovi recorded a new version of “Unbroken” for 2020’s Invictus Games, the sporting competition for injured military personnel which was created by Harry long back in 2014.

Brushing The Treasury

Coping with the rainy weather in the UK’s capital, the former Prince met with the mop-topped singer outside the famous Abbey Road Studios for a casual chat.

The two were then heralded into the control room overlooking Studio 2, where the Beatles recorded during the 1960s, who shared a quick duet in front of the studio’s microphones!

The New Jersey rocker told his counterpart, “It’s gonna be really easy, just pretend you’re singing in your bedroom. Just shout it out,”– an approach Bon Jovi never shied away from during his band’s 80s zenith.

Harry shared a teaser of their rendezvous in his Instagram who later joked to media saying, “We’ve just been gargling next door so we’re ready to go.”

The pair then engaged in one of London’s ultimate tourist activities by posing on the road crossing made famous by the Beatles on the cover of their “Abbey Road” album.

Harry also spoke with members of the Invictus Choir, as part of Bon Jovi’s team who have been backing vocals for “Unbroken”.

The singer told the BBC, “He’s a wonderful young man,” after the encounter, adding Harry is a “Bon Jovi fan”. However, he declined to comment on his decision to step back from the family.

Bon Jovi is set to release a new album in May who will also tour the United States with Bryan Adams during the summer.
