An elderly couple Stephanie Menard,73, and Daniel Menard, 79, with their dog Cuddles have nowhere to be found. They were last noticed at their home in the 26000 block of Keissel Road on Aug. 24 at 10 a.m., said local police.
The Redlands Police Department Issued An Advisory Notice
The Redlands Police Department requests people’s help in finding the missing couple and their dog as they issued an advisory notice on Facebook Tuesday, Aug. 27.
On Sunday, August 25, Their neighbor reported a missing report after getting concerned about Stephanie and Daniel whereabouts as they always visited church and weren’t seen on that day.
He “went inside their home to see if they would be okay inside and they didn’t find them in there,” the neighbor said.
In a report by KCBS-TV, Sandy Marinelli, one of the couple’s close friends said “But, they found Stephanie’s purse was in there, cane was in there. … TV was left on, computers were left on, it was just very suspicious for them to be gone.”
“They Don’t Deserve This”
The Redlands Police Department confirmed that Stephanie’s purse with Daniel’s cellphone was found inside their residence and also noted that Daniel is diabetic patient with dementia.
Moreover, their unlocked car was found nearby on the same day but their small white Shih Tzu, Cuddles, is still missing.
“I just want them back.They don’t deserve this. … They’re just good people, they go to church, they don’t deserve any of this,”
Marinelli, one of Stephenie and Daniel close friends told KCBS-TV
