Guess what happens to be the next milestone from the list of Celebrity biographer Sean Smith? Recently, he has confirmed about the release of a new tome with the help of HarperNonFiction that he aims to “set the record straight” about Meghan Markle. Well, the title of the stimulating piece would be ‘Meghan Misunderstood’ which is expected to hit the shelves on November 12, 2020. Apart from that, the book would be available in e-book as well as audio versions.
If you go by the synopsis of the book, it states to undermine issues regarding “the most talked about, unfairly vilified and misrepresented woman in the world.”
It then claims that “Even before she met Prince Harry, hers was an extraordinarily accomplished life” where Meghan successfully championed various causes and takes on to discuss various issues about her latest public life.

It further elaborates, “Theirs (Meghan and Harry’s) was a story that the screenwriters of Hollywood – where Meghan had made her name – could scarcely have imagined.”
Moreover, it continues that Meghan’s “abuse became so bad that seventy-two female MPs signed a letter of solidarity against the ‘often distasteful and misleading press’, calling out the ‘outdated colonial undertones’ of the stories.”
According to the author of the pending volume, 2019’s ITV documentary actually urged him to realise his wish for writing Meghan’s tale and her respective achievements in life. And the sudden response was triggered in understanding the actual reason behind Meghan’s disappointment within the imperial brood.
Smith explained, “Last November, I watched the TV documentary in which Meghan Markle confided it was not enough to survive something, that was not the point of life. I immediately wanted to know how it had come to this: why was the most charismatic member of the Royal Family clearly so upset? Meghan Misunderstood is her story, her amazing journey.”

Meanwhile, Editor Zoe Berville lent a final nod for global all language rights with Gordon Wise at Curtis Brown.
While speaking about the new deal with Smith, Ms Berville said: “I’m thrilled to be publishing Sean’s latest work. Meticulously researched, expertly crafted and passionately argued, Meghan Misunderstood is riveting and thought-provoking in equal measure.”
Now, we are just left waiting for the ultimatum to uncover the hidden conflicts on the public front.
