Meghan Markle Duchess of Sussex has been targeted by scammers

Meghan Markle Is Battling Scammers Who Claim She’s Taking Supplements to Lose Baby Weight

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex has been targeted by scammers who are claiming that Markle has featured in an online campaign for ‘Keto Weight Loss’ tablets after her pregnancy.

Back story

Meghan Markle is an American-born member of the British royal family and former actress. However, there are many people who are trying to take advantage of that. Recently, in her guest-edited issue of Vogue, she revealed that she’s a fan of a “high-energy, cardio-based mat workout”. Even the news also came that she’s been doing baby yoga with Archie.

However, a group of scammers have tried to use Meghan’s image, body, and voice to sell the diet pills, saying that she has started taking supplements to lose weight after Archie’s birth.

According to The Sun, one advertisement regarding “Keto Weight Loss” tablets, apparently was asserted that the product is Meghan Markle’s “passion project” as she is obsessed with her weight and probably doesn’t want to look fat.

Even, another advertisement showed where she said that after pregnancy her body had lost the shape. But, with keto body tone, she has come back into the shape.

However, another advertisement has shown even more details where she was featured. There a fake quote from Meghan Markle was used. The fake quote read, “All my life I’ve been passionate about taking care of my weight due to the pressures of Hollywood to stay young and look fit. For the last 10 years, I’ve been traveling the world and sourcing organic ingredients and weight loss remedies.”

A step towards the Scammers

However, the Buckingham Palace has decided to fight against this misdeed as many of the advertisements were false, according to The Sun.

A royal source shared to Sunday Mirror that they are not true and scammers are using the Duchess’ name for advertising purpose which is illegal and they will take the normal course of action against it.
