In an attempt to take legal action against the publisher of the Mail newspaper on Sunday, Meghan has desperately revealed the series of text messages that she and Prince Harry sent to Thomas Markle before their grand royal wedding in the past. The Suits actor has also alleged that a group of Associated Newspapers have intentionally adulterated the communication in order to defame the duo following the historical ‘Megxit’ from the Windsor family.
Previously, the Duchess of Sussex had claimed that the group owned tabloids have severely attempted to cause a rift between her and her father from the paparazzi moment.
The news hit the floors on Sunday when Meghan initiated legal measures against the Mail after her handwritten letter to her father was issued in the publication. She also asserted the fact that the information was however scrupulously edited by the press just to paint her “negatively.”
The licit operation involved the filing of court papers depicting the text messages that expects a hearing this week if lately. However, the document also describes some deliberate “omits” about the duo considering Thomas’ safety before their wedding ceremony in terms of his health conditions which added much to the fire.
Additionally, the evidence also expressed concerns about the UK tabloid media, particularly by the name of Associated Newspapers that it strained, mortified and persuaded Mr Markle in irreconcilable terms who breached Meghan’s copyright previously.
Meghan & Harry Adopt “Zero Engagement” Policy With British Tabloids
In response to the accusation, The Mail has reverted saying that a “huge and legitimate” public interest was hailed while printing such information, contrarily reinstating a proof that the private details were “immaculately copied” in Meghan’s “elaborate handwriting” establishing remarks about such presentation. It also implicated that Meghan willingly foresaw the possibility of the letter reaching to a larger audience rooted from the controversy. The media has intriguingly replied to the allegation adding they will protect the confidential petition “with vigour.”
