Keanu Reeves’ magic continues with the first look of ‘Bill & Ted Face the Music’

The first look of “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” movie’s much-awaited sequel has finally come and fans went crazy with this. The movie will see both Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter in their lovable dude roles. This is a follow-up of the 1989 original time-travel comedy and 1991’s “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey” that has been almost three decades in the making.

Entertainment Weekly came up some early stills from the movie Tuesday which featured everyone’s favourite teen simpletons who are all grown up now.

Although the limited photos don’t reveal much about the speculation of the new instalment, it seems that Bill S. Preston Esquire (Winter) and Ted Theodore Logan (Reeves) are back to their old zone, coming together into a phone booth and facing off against a masked villain.

This time too the pair is still on a quest to write down a hit track in their home town of San Dimas, Calif., with some life wrinkles added like fatherhood and middle age. However, The production snaps also revealed some fresh faces in the form of Bill’s and Ted’s kids, played by “Ready or Not” star Samara Weaving and “Atypical” star Brigette Lundy-Paine, respectively.

“Bill & Ted Face the Music” is one of those franchise movies for Reeves, who returned to big screens this year with “John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum”. Along with these, he will be soon set to reprise his fans with the role as cyber-genius Neo in the “The Matrix 4,” which is expected to release in 2021.

Dean Parisot has directed “Bill & Ted Face the Music,” and all set to release in August.
